The iAccelerate Rise program supports new and existing regional businesses with practical workshops and a network of regional and international experts. Designed with regional entrepreneurs and University of Wollongong’s iAccelerate program.
Rise consists of workshops on:
- Finding paying customers
- Developing new products and services
Learning to get investment to ensure a solid foundation for the future
- People looking to grow their ideas amongst like-minded people.
Who should apply?
iAccelerate Rise can support businesses and ideas, including:
- Existing businesses looking to revitalise their strategy to launch new products or services
- Startup businesses looking to turn an idea into a business
- Not-for-profits and social enterprises looking to make a financially sustainable impact in their community
When is this happening?
The Rise program will run over 8 weeks in Wingecarribee Shire and in Goulburn Mulwaree starting in August 2022. Applications close Friday 22 July – apply now.
How does it work?
Each week, participants will spend 2-3 hours working on their business at their own pace and 3 hours working together with an expert facilitator. After the 8 week program concludes, participants will have a 3 minute pitch they can use to attract paying customers, investors, and media and they will demonstrate this pitch at an event with the community.

Attend our online ‘Test Your Business Idea’ introductory workshop to help you explore your business idea and experience a small part of the program.
Learn to see your ideas through the eyes of your customer, understand their wants and needs, and discover possible solutions.
The workshop is led by our expert facilitator who can also answer your questions about the full, 8 week program before you apply.
Duration: 1.5 hours
Suited for: Anyone with a new idea for a business, product, or service in the in the Wingecarribee Shire or Goulburn Mulwaree region.
