Our social enterprises program is designed for entrepreneurs looking to deliver social or environmental impact.

The 14-week education program

Valued at $4,500

Includes:

Facilitator-led workshops
Self-paced online learning
Individual mentoring with leading experts Active learning
Peer support through site visits to social enterprises accompanied by talks from their leaders.

10 startups will then be selected and offered an additional nine-month residency within iAccelerate, after completion of the education program.

Residency at iAccelerate offers you all the benefits you need to succeed - being part of a community of like-minded people, an advanced education offering plus a designated desk space for you to take the action needed to make your business a reality.

In December 2023, you will be notified if your application has been successful.

The social enterprise program starts!

The program starts with site visits to social enterprises from Wednesday, 7 February, 2024. Site visits include Greenacres Disability Services (14 February), Green Connect (21 February) and Flagstaff Group (28 February).

Activate commences

The social enterprise cohort will join the Activate program in March 2024. This program focuses on validation, customer discovery, pitch practice and other topics. Workshops run on Wednesdays from 9.30 - 12.30 at iAccelerate.

Pitch event

The education program concludes in May 2024 with a pitch event to showcase your business and the skills you have developed.

iAccelerate residency

From 22 May - 20 December 2024, the 10 social enterprises selected to continue as Residents in iAccelerate will be notified and will spend the next nine months at iAccelerate.

Scholarships

Full scholarships valued at $13,000 per enterprise, funded by Investment NSW
Each scholarship allows up to three participants per enterprise
