UOW iAccelerate a finalist in the prestigious Asia-Pacific Triple E Awards

Awards recognise entrepreneurship excellence in higher education.

We’re thrilled to be named a finalist in the year's prestigious 2024 Asia-Pacific Triple E Awards.

The recognition highlights iAccelerate’s significant contributions to supporting entrepreneurship and innovation within the Illawarra region and beyond.

The Awards are organised in 4 regions around the world (Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific) and we stand alongside some great institutions in the Asia Pacific for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Activators of the Year Award for the entire iAccelerate team. 

iA Director Tamantha Stutchbury said these awards reflect iAccelerate’s dedication to making Illawarra a great place to start and grow a business.

“Central to our values is the belief that anyone can be an entrepreneur. We actively support underrepresented groups in entrepreneurship, with 52 per cent of companies having at least one active female founder. Regional entrepreneurs from across Australia, as well as First Nations and culturally and linguistically diverse entrepreneurs are also supported through our programs.

“We are a small team that delivers a big impact. At its core, the iAccelerate team strives for and finds joy in the success of our entrepreneurs and startups.”

The winner will be announced in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 2 September.
