UOW PitchX is a reverse pitching competition where you can pitch your terrible ideas for awesome prizes, meet new friends and gain valuable skills

Bring along a terrible idea or simply join a team with one. Teams will further develop their idea by

  • Pitch Training Online
  • Workshop

Then compete on stage in a final event, presenting their terrible idea to a judging panel for some totally awesome prizes.

Prizes will be given to teams or individuals in the categories of

  • Worst Idea
  • Best Costumes
  • Best Pitch
  • Best Prototype
  • Audience Favourite Pitch

  • Pitch and public speaking Techniques
  • Performance: Winning over the audience
  • Performance: Entertain with confidence

2. Workshop your Pitch

Come along with your rehearsed Pitch and get expert guidance in our workshop

This one-off the workshop will be held on Wednesday 19 Ocotber at UOW campus.

3. Upload your Pitch

Upload your polished Pitch for our panel via the online module

4. Present at PitchX

You are joining our PitchX final event.

The final event to be held at iAccelerate is open to the public so your friends and family are encouraged to come along & enjoy a fun night of food, drinks and plenty of laughs!
