SCIT Tech Expo showcases Innovation and Entrepreneurial Spirit at UOW

The SCIT Autumn Tech Expo 2025, held in June 2025 at the University of Wollongong, was buzzing with excitement and fresh ideas.

Hosted by the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT), the event brought together student entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and startups—including iAccelerate’s very own residents Mailshield, Sample Assist, Digiwise and Elemental Aim —to showcase cutting-edge digital solutions developed throughout the semester. 

The iAccelerate team was thrilled to attend and witness firsthand the creativity, technical expertise, and drive of UOW’s student innovators. Over the past few months, these students worked closely with iAccelerate and its startups and mentors to tackle real-world challenges, resulting in a diverse array of impactful projects. From AI-powered tools to community-focused applications and dynamic software platforms, each solution reflected the dedication and ingenuity of its creators. 

The energy at the expo was electric as students presented their work to peers, mentors, and visitors. It was a powerful reminder of the value of hands-on experience and the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial talent.
