Illawarra, South Coast and Western Sydney residents looking to save money on their energy bills can be among the first to trial the EZswitch energy cost management service before its NSW and ACT launch in February 2018.

EZswitch is inviting people from Sydney’s Greater West, Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, the Illawarra and the South Coast to send in their electricity and gas bills using its innovative new web app, available on its website.

The EZswitch team, led by iAccelerate residents Phil Oakman and Neale Schelks, is in the final stages of testing the service and is offering people in the Endeavour Energy electricity distribution network and the Jemena gas distribution network the opportunity to get a free energy bill assessment.

Gerald Jenner from Ermington NSW said “I had recently used another prominent energy switching service who switched me to a plan that had quickly become very expensive. EZswitch reviewed my usage and identified savings of $750 per year and also identified my eligibility for a significant government rebate of $313.50 per year that I was not currently receiving. As a pensioner, the savings I made after using EZswitch represents a very significant amount of money compared to my annual income.”

EZswitch is a service to help consumers and small-to-medium enterprises manage and save on their energy costs. EZswitch is different to other switching services as they will continue to review the consumer’s bill regularly to understand their usage. Every 12 months EZswitch will compare plans from all energy retailers and switch the consumer to the best plan with minimal effort.
