Ordervous is a platform used to reconnect and reintegrate the community through sharing food, which is often the best medicine.
We essentially pair people who have a passion for cooking at home and enable them to sell their home-cooked meals to others in the community that may be time poor, lack the skills or ability which often results in poor diets and if they had the option, would rather a home cooked meal from within their neighbourhood.
Our main tenets are to:
- Bring back a sense of community connectedness and the support that comes with it,
- Reduce waste both organic food and packaging,
- Promote cost-effective, healthier home-cooked meals.
We see the flow-on effects from connecting within the community and sharing food can have immeasurable impacts on many problems we now face on an individual and societal level and we believe as a society we have a mandate to bring that physical/emotional connectedness along our current trajectory.
The platform is a dual-sided marketplace which provides the passionate home cook with the tools, knowledge and platform to sell their meals to those around them.
