Recovery Camp is very pleased to announce the appointment of Maree Kerr as Managing Director, effective August, 2018. 

Maree brings with her extensive business and board experience, having worked in the areas of health, education, and finance  in both the private and not for profit sectors.

Recovery Camp is a start-up company, developed from research and founded by academics from the University of Wollongong, Australia. Maree’s employment is the first external hire for the company, and represents an exciting new chapter for the enterprise which has gained traction over the past 18 months.

Working with Universities around the country offering nursing students clinical placements coupled with people with a lived experience of mental health, In October the 500^th nursing student will be attending Recovery Camp, with the 500^th person with mental illness attending in December. We are looking forward to Maree’s valuable contribution to Recovery Camp’s focus on mental health recovery and quality education.
