iAccelerate is expanding globally with new partnerships in Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Portugal – all announced within the last few months. Residents at iAccelerate will now have the opportunity to work and/or expand their businesses overseas, and residents from partnering companies can get a taste of Australia in return.

The recent partnerships include Hatch Works in Colombo, Sri Lanka; Da Nang Business Incubator DNES in Da Nang, Vietnam; and Startup Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal. Astha Singh, iAccelerate’s marketing manager, has told the Illawarra Mercury that these new partnerships are only the beginning, as there are currently opportunities in the pipeline for India and New Zealand.

Omar Khalifa, CEO at iAccelerate, talks about how important these partnerships are for everyone in the Wollongong incubator: “This is part of our vision for a physical as well as virtual global ecosystem that will promote opportunities for iAccelerate residents and mentors. As well as other members of the iAccelerate Innovation Network.”
