Wollongong Finalists Announced

We are happy to announce we have selected four finalists to pitch their business idea live on stage on June 19th.

The Painspace – The Painspace app helps people put into practice the multiple things required to manage living with chronic pain. Our product fills a market gap, offering connection and compassion, reminding the sufferer they’re not alone, whilst also aligning with evidence based medicine, best practice management strategies and latest pain science.

The Atlas of Consciousness – The Atlas of Consciousness is a production and media company which helps us all ‘see ourselves and our world in a new way’. We believe our world’s largest issues (poverty, climate change etc), all start from within, so we help transform our outer world by first transforming our inner world.

Eden Game Development Centre – Our team are engaging and teaching disengaged youth and disadvantaged youth to make video games with practical skills including coding, art, music, teamwork skills. We plan to engage with more schools and organisations to sell out subscription model to them. Supporting youth over Bega Valley, Australia and potentially the world.

ROWM – Chemical maintenance frustrates pool owners. Chemicals account for 25% of pool expenditure yearly but chemical manufacturers see very little as their products are used in price wars by pool retailers. Pool Mate links chemical manufacturers directly with their customers whilst pool owners get reliable and convenient advice on chemical maintenance.

NSW Regional Pitchfest is Coming to Wollongong!

The Jobs for NSW Regional Pitchfest is coming to Wollongong in June and here at iAccelerate we are thrilled to be involved!

What is Jobs for NSW Regional Pitchfest?

Jobs for NSW Regional Pitchfest is your opportunity to pitch your business or idea to an audience and expert panel for the chance to win a share of prizes. We are looking for regional Australia’s innovators and entrepreneurs and are excited to be not only providing them a platform to launch from, but also a spotlight on the great opportunities in regional areas across the country.

Applicants will be given the opportunity to undertake pitch and business growth training.

Winners from each NSW regional event will be flown to Sydney for a 3 day boot camp where they will compete in the semi-final where 5 winners will be chosen who will then compete in the State final in Wagga Wagga on Thursday 5 September for a chance to will a share of $20k in prizes.See the official media release below.

We are hosting a lunchtime information session on Wednesday the 5th June from 12pm – 1pm, ahead of the Wollongong Pitchfest event to be held on Wednesday the 19th June from 5pm.
