iAccelerate further builds network with Hatch Works in Colombo, Sri Lanka

Colombo based startup hub Hatch Works and iAccelerate have partnered to assist each other’s startups with a reciprocal “soft landing pad” program. The program encourages startups seeking to enter reciprocal regional markets to spend time building their businesses in Colombo or Wollongong.

“This is part of our vision for a physical as well as virtual global ecosystem that will promote opportunities for iAccelerate residents and mentors – as well as other members of the iAccelerate Innovation Network” said Omar Khalifa, iAccelerate CEO.

“Hatch becomes the latest to become part of the international network of startup hubs to enable entrepreneurs – from iAccelerate’s Innovation Network and from Sri Lanka – to develop market knowledge and collaboration opportunities.  We are very impressed with Hatch and the possibility for it to be a gateway for Sri Lanka and the region” added Khalifa.

In the last few months we have finalised partnerships with the Startup Lisboa, Lisbon and Da Nang Business Incubator, Vietnam as part of the innovation network which we plan to continue extending.
