How to join iAccelerate

If you have big plans for your business, iAccelerate gives you what you need to get where you need to go in record time. It’s not simply a place to plug in your computer and build your bank account, though we can help with that too. It’s a diverse and stimulating environment with community at its heart, where a spark of innovation can be shaped into a sustainable business that contributes to society in meaningful ways.

Our application process is in two stages:

• A written application, and
• A pitch to a selection panel for successful applicants.

Successful applicants will be notified with further information regarding the interview process after the application period has closed. The iAccelerate program for the new cohort is expected to start mid October (subject to change).

The iAccelerate program will be delivered virtually as an interactive online course, through a blend of facilitator led workshops, self-paced online learning, individual mentoring, active learning and peer support. Participation in the program starts at $110* per week per company (*conditions apply).

Test Your Business Idea Workshop

The Test Your Business Idea Workshop says it all in the title and has been specifically designed for anyone to validate their business idea. This short workshop is designed to run you through some fundamental building blocks using the Lean Startup Methodology. By identifying your different customer segments and personas you’ll be able to design the right solution that solves your customers’ problem and drives them to buy your solution.

It will help you refine your business idea, articulate what your “secret sauce” is and where you should go next. From there you’ll be in the best position to understand if you want to apply to the iAccelerate Program and really unlock your innovative potential! Register now.

When we’re assessing your application, we’re looking for:

• Commitment to growing the Illawarra ecosystem, and/or
• Openness to feedback.

If you’re successful you’ll need to attend an interview as part of the application process. Successful applicants will become a part of our next cohort and proceed to our P.A.G.E program.
