As our previous cohort tackles the bigger challenges out in the real world with the end of last week’s Pitch to Panel, we are welcoming a new batch of change makers this month. 

Last week’s Pitch to Panel was a great opportunity for our November cohort, which also comprised of students from UOW’s Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences doing their internships, to get together and deliver their business ideas to a panel of experts.

The panel which included EIS Executive Dean Valerie Linton, Regional Manager of the Illawarra and South Coast AusIndustry Peter Masterson, Beer Mogul Chief Executive Officer Nathan Harper, and FinoComp’s Head of HR Leanne Isabella saw a lot of interesting ideas and innovative solutions from our November cohort. 

“It just gets better and better each year. I’ve been in previous Pitch to Panels here at iAccelerate and this year is just exciting,” Nathan Harper said. 

iAccelerate’s Pitch Sessions consists of peer to peer and to panel pitching opportunities, professional presentation training, mentor matching and a final pitching event to industry experts and potential investors. It is a great opportunity for you to practice your pitch in front of a judging panel, your peers and the iAccelerate Team.

Ten new startups are joining us this March and will be into our revamped program. Comprised of four components: Prime, Activate, Grow, and Expand, the new program offers a more comprehensive but also a more flexible approach to improving any business.

Our March Cohort will go into Activate which is the foundation program that delivers a business canvas and pitch deck to both new and ongoing businesses in search of a pivot or new initiative.
