iAccelerate would like to give a warm welcome to our newly appointed Educate Program Manager, Sabine Straver.

She will be managing our education program that is built around delivering key knowledge areas critical to rapidly building a successful startup business.

Professional Experience

Over the years, Sabine has been extensively involved with the University of Wollongong and has played a vital role in the  Learning Teaching and Curriculum (LTC) division. She has been a head tutor for a number of Management subjects with cohorts ranging from 25 – 850 students in the School of Management, Operations and Marketing,  within the Faculty of Business.

“I have had a variety of positions within management, education, higher level administration as well as IT”, Sabine shares.

She has also spent time in developing a fully online Postgraduate course in Biofabrication for the Science Department at the University. More recently, she was part of the team that designed and ran the “Learning to Teach Online program” which was UOW’s Central COVID-19 response in supporting UOW’s academic staff in adapting to new ways of remote delivery of classes.

About Sabine’s background

Born in the Netherlands Sabine has made Australia her home for 19 years now. Sabine has many talents and one of them is being a professional organiser. She has even published a book on the subject called Organising Unpacked a useful guide to organised living.

“My passion is making things more streamlined, organised, and functioning better”

Sabine also runs her own business called The Essence of Clarity. The business aims to inspire people to declutter and get more organised anywhere in the world. Her site blogs have even been recognised for being the top 100 blogs and websites to follow in 2020.

In her spare time, she keeps herself busy doing yoga,being a mother of two children and working on her PhD in online education. Sabine’s adventure will continue in this new role, educationally supporting our companies at iAccelerate we expect she will bring a different perspective in this new role at iA.

“When I work with others, I like to work in a collaborative way, using continuous feedback to move both the organisation and the individuals in it forward”, she mentions.
