For the last 50 years, #EarthDay has driven transformative change for people and our planet and is now recognised as the world’s largest environmental movement. Today, more than any other time in our past, we need to come together and call for greater protection for our planet. Every company, especially startups, has a unique responsibility to the planet and aswer to the call of #ClimateAction.

Utilising the United Nations #SustainableDevelopmentGoals as our vision for change, UOW our community partner Future Focus are being bold, creative and innovative in the face of a global challenge.

The Sustainable Development Goals and iAccelerate

This #EarthDay2020 🌏, we are strengthening our commitment to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

This year, every iAccelerate resident startup are required to have their #SDG scorecard and evaluation and this becomes part of their “pitch” pack.

Startups have a unique platform to to build new business, processes, products and services in order to solve our world’s most complex problems.

We also support multi-stakeholder partnerships and collaborations needed to make sure Earth Day this year is unlike any before and provides a true pivot to action.

Our program has been revamped to include the SDGs and we intend to make ourselves accountable and continuously define what they mean to us and our wider community.
