What is UOW Pitch all about?

UOW Pitch is for UOW students and staff who possess a creative mind and are inspired by innovation.

We target bright, energetic entrepreneurial-minded people who are passionate about their ideas but may lack the necessary financial resources to pursue them.  The UOW Pitch competition, funded by SAF and external sponsors, is designed to build on the success of iAccelerate and further promote student and staff involvement in entrepreneurialism and the commercialisation of ideas, inventions and research outcomes at UOW.

Applicants are encouraged to submit their ideas, no matter what stage of development they are at.

It's simple...

Apply

Applications are via an online form - tells us about your idea and answer a few questions like what problem it is solving, how it is different from what exists already, and who your target market is.  You can upload up to four pages of supporting documentation.

Shortlist

We will then shortlist the best ideas.

Training

Those shortlisted entrants will be invited to Pitch Training conducted by an industry expert.

Pitch

On Pitch Day you will present a five minute, five slide maximum presentation to a panel of UOW and industry experts.

Win

Winners will share in over $40,000 worth of cash prizes plus receive an invitation to interview for the iAccelerate program.
