The iAccelerate Seed Fund is an early stage venture capital fund that makes seed and follow-on investments in iAccelerate resident startups via an assessment process.
The $10 million iAccelerate Seed Fund is delivered through iAccelerate, and managed by Artesian Venture Partners, who are an alternative investment management company. Artesian was originally spun out of ANZ Banking Groups capital markets business in 2004.
The investment capital will support entrepreneurs to grow their ideas into viable businesses.
Access to early-stage funding will allow entrepreneurs to better prepare their businesses and potentially to connect with further funding opportunities in the future.
iAccelerate Seed Fund Investment Process
Companies participating in iAccelerate Start that qualify for investment from the seed fund can receive up to $30,000 in funding for up to 6 per-cent equity.
Companies that are part of iAccelerate Advanced can alternatively apply to receive up to $150,000 in funding for up to 15 per-cent equity – equating to a million dollar valuation.
Advanced funding is a competitive process and it is expected 4-5 investments will be made each year.
