iAccelerate and ANSTO’s nandin Innovation Centre collaborate to bring deep tech ideas to life

The iAccelerate Innovation Network represents a diverse group of business accelerators and incubators enhancing regional, national and international collaboration to promote and support entrepreneurs and their startups.
The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO)’s Innovation Centre ‘nandin’ is a hub focused on deep tech initiatives empowering cutting-edge and disruptive technologies. nandin is a place where imaginative and inventive minds come together to challenge, design, create and innovate.
What drives nandin is helping entrepreneurs apply science, technology, research and innovation to create solutions that solve the unmet challenges and problems in our world. nandin delivers this by engaging industry, delivering learning programs, prototyping, collaborating and mentoring, as well as providing facilities such as lab suites, offices, and design workspaces.
The reciprocal arrangement between nandin and iAccelerate includes introductions to help entrepreneurs access new markets, expertise, and capital. Along with the opportunity for the exploration of further collaboration opportunities.
“iAccelerate is committed to ensuring all entrepreneurs are provided with meaningful global pathways to facilitate collaboration, investment and market entry. We are thrilled nandin is joining the iAccelerate Innovation Network, so together we can create opportunities for research, industry and government to work together to solve real-world problems” said Omar Khalifa, CEO iAccelerate.
“Together with nandin, we look forward to strengthening innovation ties in our national and international network to bring deep tech ideas to life”, he added.
Collaboration between partners in the network includes sharing case studies, best practices and expertise to overcome challenges or create new opportunities. Partners can also choose to engage in further collaboration or provide market access opportunities for their startups across the entire network.
“Our collaboration with iAccelerate extends nandin’s global reach and connects us to like-minded innovation centres both within Australia and across the world. Collaboration and partnerships are at the core of ANSTO’s research and innovation mission, and are crucial in our efforts to overcome the world’s biggest challenges, deliver inspired solutions and ultimately create jobs for the benefit of society and the economy” said Dr Tim Boyle, Director Innovation and Commercialisation, ANSTO.
