Online Cohorts in Wollongong and Bega

The situation regarding the outbreak of the COVID-19 Virus and the response by government and the University of Wollongong is fluid and being updated regularly. It is difficult to anticipate further official actions so we are continuing to take sensible measures to ensure we do our part.  All our responses will be indicated in this page.

We want to be sure to support all our residents in this uncertain time. iAccelerate continues to monitor and assess new developments pertaining to COVID-19. For any further inquiries, feel free to contact us.

iAccelerate Staff and Experts-in-Residence

All iAccelerate staff and EIR’s are being provided the option of working from home. However, all team members will be available by email or videoconference, you can reach out to us when contact is needed.

Changes to our training and program

iAccelerate is making changes to the way we deliver our training. We are excited to inform you that we have commenced online training for our current cohort.

Moving forward, we are working actively to create online components to our courses and enhance this with live zoom sessions.

Our training will have:

  • Subject Outcomes for each module
  • Sound pedagogical Course design
  • Constructive alignment between Courses and modules
  • A focus on Active learning
  • Blended or Fully Online options

Lastly our course content has been tested in real life start-ups, the courses are made by and for entrepreneurs.

Applications now open

The iAccelerate program will be delivered virtually as an interactive online course, through a blend of facilitator-led workshops, self-paced online learning, individual mentoring, active learning, and peer support.

Our July 2020 program will be delivered virtually and will also include participants from our iAccelerate Innovation Network partners.

Successful applicants will be notified with further information regarding the interview process after the application period has closed.

The iAccelerate program for the new cohort is expected to start at the end of July (subject to change).

The Phoenix Resolve Workshop Series

The Phoenix Resolve Workshop Series has been designed by Bega Valley Innovation Hub to assist entrepreneurs and business leaders and support jobs through online training and digital co-working.

The Series has been built from local resources to support local business – and to assist businesses to pivot and adapt after the bushfires and now COVID-19.
