Own Words is a Digital Story Résumé (DSR) recruitment platform. It is a process that allows job seekers to represent themselves through a modality of their choosing using images, and sounds.
It benefits the employer by affording an in-depth résumé that encapsulates the job seekers skill and personality.
There are four basic steps:
1. Employer advertises required skills in job advertisement.
2. The job seeker is directed to showcase the requisite skills by creating a DSR.
3. The DSR is sent to the employer.
4. The DSR mediates the job interview
