[box]#feb026[/box]We are pleased to announce that the iAccelerate incubated company, ClauseMatch, has been accepted as one of only 11 teams into the inaugural Barclays FinTech Accelerator Program in London.
The Barclays Accelerator, powered by Techstars, is a three month intensive startup programme designed to support new businesses deliver their breakthrough innovations in FinTech.More than 300 applications came in from nearly 50 countries, with selected teams representing both the incredible FinTech scene in London and the international nature of the industry including teams from Toronto to Stockholm to Barcelona. In an age where “UK team” consists of a founder from Russia now living in Arundel, a founder from the Netherlands living in Ukraine, and an Israeli living in Australia.
ClauseMatch is the first cloud platform for matching and negotiating master agreements for trading over-the-counter derivatives and commodities in the global economy. London is one of the world’s leading financial centres, and together with New York it is one of only 2 Alpha++ cities which are vastly more integrated with the global economy than all other major cities.Each company selected for the Barclays Accelerator will refine their business model, culminating in a Barclays Executive Demo Day and a Public Investor Demo Day in London in September.
ClauseMatch has been a resident iAccelerate company since 2012. The founder Yossi Abramov is a Wollongong based developer with experience in the finance and telecom industry he has been spearheading the ClauseMatch application development. The two other founders are London based trading agreement expwerts. Yossi will be taking a leave of absence from the iAccelerate Hub while in the UK but is still a proud part of iAccelerate, while participating in the Barcalys FinTech Accelerator Program in London.
